Museum night in Rotterdam: My portrethokje was located at Museum Rotterdam, at the entry of the exhibition Family Portrait, I drew 46 visitors from 20 until 2 o'clock in the morning.

manimal works

visited the studio of Manimalworks in Rotterdam this week to learn something about moldmaking. lots of beautiful animals and human figures standing around, both finished as well as still under construction. when i wanted to take some photo's found that although my camera was in my bag, I forgot that the card was still in my computer at home, so these photo's are taken with my phone (hence the quality)

Beukelsdijk Blauw

a few years ago this block of houses was demolished, but untill that time the already abandoned houses were painted blue by artist Florentijn Hofman. Beautiful project! (we like our blue in Rotterdam)

blauwe huisje in landart Biennale Valkenswaard

while I was busy decorating the burlesque party, huub built the camera obscura project on the landart biennale Valkenswaard, assisted by his brother and brother in law. The day after the party I took an early train to attend the opening and together we showed and explained the work to the public.
We have a beautiful spot in the beginning of the route, surrounded by trees...

metropolis at the pleinbioscoop in rotterdam

saw Metropolis at the pleinbioscoop in rotterdam yesterday, with live music that added a lot of fun to the silent movie. some dramatic scenes were accompanied by funny slapstickmusic...
acting classes in the early 1900's included a lot of fist clenching and manic looks, very entertaining to look at!

never seen it and you have the opportunity: don't miss it.
