first try making stevia extract with the last leaves before winter of the little stevia plant in my backyard. picked some leaves, washed them, crushed them and put them in a mini-jam jar, filled it with vodka and shook it a few times. here's hoping that after 24 hours the sweetness has transfered to the vodka, so we can use it to sweeten our coffee... the alcohol will keep it from going bad, and since we only need one drop in our coffee, it will have evaporated before making us drunk.
